Mexican Petroleum Congress is a great international event organized each year by the Civil Engineers Associations related to the earth sciences: the Mexican College of Petroleum Engineers, the Mexican Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Mexican Association of Production Geophysicists, The Mexican Association of Petroleum Engineers and the Mexican Chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. This year the organization of the CMP2013 is being led by the Mexican College of Petroleum Engineers.

The congress will lead to the discussion of new opportunities and challenges for mature fields and non-conventional resources, deep water development, and secondary and enhanced recovery processes and technologies, without ignoring topics critical to the industry such as maintenance, HSE, and general management issues. Of course, the focus will be on sustainability in order to ensure ample hydrocarbon resources for generations to come.
