The Mexican Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Mexican Association of Exploration Geophysicists, the Mexican Association of Petroleum Engineers, the Mexican College of Petroleum Engineers, and the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Mexico’s Section, have selected the city of Monterrey, also called “La Sultana del Norte” (“Sultan of the North”), to host the 2008 Mexican Petroleum Congress.
