This petroleum event is the largest in Mexican history in which consists in more than 1,200 companies showing their products, more than 300 units of high tech equipment with descriptions and explanations from experts and professional forums related to the latest technology and development in the oil industry.

This CMP 2012 revealed the first future overview of Mexican oil industry after the new elected government which is “It is brilliant, PEMEX best time is coming”. This is due to the confirmation of the deep water oil reservoir of estimated 350 million barrel called Trion 1 and the new researches on the shale oil and gas. So in the next coming years, PEMEX will have the trend to focus on deep waters reservoirs and non-conventional oil and sands.
