PEMEX Delegation Visited CIMC Raffles Shipyards in Yantai and TSC Group Holding’s Facilities in Qingdao in January 2015…january 2015

On January 15 and 16, 2015, a PEMEX delegation led by Mr. Raul De La Garza, head of Rig Maintenance Department of PEP Drilling Business Unit, carried out a two-day official visit to CIMC Raffles Shipyards in Yantai and TSC Group Holding’s facilities in Qingdao.

The PEMEX delegation visited on January 15th the headquarter office of CIMC Raffles and its R&D Center in Yantai, and then visited its Fushan Shipyard. Fushan facility is dedicated to manufacturing of semisubmersible platforms. Fushan shipyard has the world largest gantry crane TAISUN with lifting capacity of 20000 metric tons and a dry dock over 14 meters deep, which can accommodate loads of up to 120 meters wide and large vessels.

On January 16th the delegation went to Raffles Longkou Shipyard which is the manufacturing base for jackup rigs.

In the afternoon of January 16th, PEMEX delegation went to Qingdao city and visited TSC’s drilling component manufacturing plant.

Both CIMC Raffles and TSC demonstrated a big interest in working with PEMEX to offer their high quality equipment at competitive prices.

Being authorized representative and strategic partner of TSC and CIMC Raffles, Mr. Robert Andrews, CEO and President of Andrews Technologies, Inc., accompanied PEMEX delegation during the whole visit.
