The Asociación Mexicana de Geofísicos de Exploración (Mexican Association of Exploration Geophysicists), jointly with other Mexican professional associations within the oil industry, the Asociación Mexicana de Geólogos Petroleros (Mexican Association of Petroleum Geologists), the Asociación de Ingenieros Petroleros de México (Association of Petroleum Engineers of Mexico), the Colegio de Ingenieros Petroleros de México (Mexican Petroleum Engineering College), and the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Mexican Section, have chosen the city of Puebla as headquarters for the Congreso Mexicano del Petróleo (Mexican Petroleum Congress 2011), to be held from June 8th through 11th at the Centro Expositor and is pleased to invite you to attend this event.
The slogan for the Congress, as well as for the Exhibit is “SUSTAINABLE DISCOVERY AND PRODUCTION”, and its main purpose is to promote progress, strengthening an application of new oil technologies by way of this forum, through the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences, with the presentation of technical papers, keynote lectures and the industrial exhibit, that will make it possible to face future challenges in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons, as well as other subjects dealing with the oil industry.
The Industrial Exhibit will be covered by approximately 300 national and foreign companies, which supply products and services with 650 stands distributed within a 13,000 m2 area. The estimated attendance is approximately of 5,000 people, including congress participants, guest companions and other attendees. A high quality and interesting program has been prepared for such distinguished attendance, as well as a full schedule of cultural, social and sports activities, thus turning this event into something unique.
