On August 25th, 2010 an ATI delegation visited Rongsheng Machinery Manufacture LTD of Huabei Oilfield in Renqiu City, Hebei Province, PR of China.
Previously on July 15th, 2010 ATI Placed an order for nine (9) sets of RSF-800 Mud Pumps for 3 (three) Heli-transportable rigs. These units have been specially designed to handle the reduced weight requirements for these type of rigs. In addition 3 complete BOP stacks (5,000PSI 13⅝” Annular, 5,000PSI 13⅝” Single Ram and 5,000PS1 13⅝” Drilling Spool) were also part of the order.
At the same time, ATI toured the new casting plant, the mud pump plant and the BOP plant in which they saw the on-going developing work of offshore BOPs to be released in early 2011.
