Andrews Technologies, Inc. (ATI), TSC Manufacturing and Supply, LLC. (TSC) and Construcciones Industriales y Ecologicas del Sureste, S.A. de C.V. (CIESSA) officially started the project of Land Rig Refurbishment, Mechanization and Automation Services Contract signed with PEMEX in July of 2014.
The scope of services for each rig consists of diagnostic and evaluation, supply of new equipment required for rig upgrade, refurbishment of some rig components in Mexico, and final rig assembly and commissioning at site.
PEMEX has released the first two rigs PM-306 and PM-331 in early January 2015. The consortium project management sent the survey team to the rigs and officially started the services on January 5th 2015. It is expected to conclude the diagnostic and evaluation service in two weeks.
In order to ensure the efficient and successful execution of the project, three consortium members jointly formed a professional project management team officing out of ATI’s Villahermosa Location in Mexico.
